Make it worth it

I was going through a jotter of mine(it's a CMDA- Christian Medical and Dental Association publishing called Better Today; a book aimed at helping one keep track of their study life) and noticed this image.

Ultimately, what matters most is the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. The blood shed, the pain endured.....the life we live now, does it really show we are grateful?

I strive to be the best at any and everything I do. I may not always come out best, but I certainly try to make sure I give it my best. Reason is, Someone gave me His EVERYTHING. The least I can do is to try.

How can you make His sacrifice worth it in your life today?

On editorial work and other stuff

It's been hard.  Literally, my 'me time' is basically me turning off my mobile data so I can relax without guilt. I know, I'm such a bad person. Truth is, it's been quite an experience so far. Leadership is NOT what I thought it would be. It's surprisingly a whole lot of work. Half the time I wanna scream like a baby and call out all my board members one by one. Then common sense sets in of course. What I'm learning so far? This blog post was initially started two (ok, three) years ago (happy new year y'all). I still cannot believe what it's been like since then. One thing I can say for certain though is that God has done a lot in my life through my connections and especially through Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria ( CMDA Nigeria ). showing appreciation

today was incredible. medical students from my college saw their 2nd MBBS result today. something surprised me yet made perfectly good sense. among them were two of my friends. now they have been studying really hard for this. when they saw perfect results, they burst out in tears. some would ask why they are so surprided whereas they had studied so hard. it just takes me to the scripture that ssays "when The Lord turned arround the captivity of Zion, they were like they that dream. inspite of all the persistent prayers made for their freedom, when it finally came it was greater than they thought it would be. let us learn to give God glory for all things. though we expect it, He can-and often does more.
