Promises From Scripture

So, this is a segment I will do more often. Sometimes, a scripture just pops up and it speaks volumes. Today, this came at the right time. A lot is happening in Nigeria. I have been to numb to think, talk less of post. But, I certainly will. To everyone in mourning right now because of all the happenings from 20/10/2020 in Lagos and continuing to today in the rest of the country, I pray this scripture encourages you as it has me.


Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord . “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.

Dear Nigerian, remain encouraged. We are making it out of this. Know that you are loved and your Father in Heaven is still on the throne and will surely deliver us from these times.  Shalom.

On editorial work and other stuff

It's been hard.  Literally, my 'me time' is basically me turning off my mobile data so I can relax without guilt. I know, I'm such a bad person. Truth is, it's been quite an experience so far. Leadership is NOT what I thought it would be. It's surprisingly a whole lot of work. Half the time I wanna scream like a baby and call out all my board members one by one. Then common sense sets in of course. What I'm learning so far? This blog post was initially started two (ok, three) years ago (happy new year y'all). I still cannot believe what it's been like since then. One thing I can say for certain though is that God has done a lot in my life through my connections and especially through Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria ( CMDA Nigeria ). showing appreciation

today was incredible. medical students from my college saw their 2nd MBBS result today. something surprised me yet made perfectly good sense. among them were two of my friends. now they have been studying really hard for this. when they saw perfect results, they burst out in tears. some would ask why they are so surprided whereas they had studied so hard. it just takes me to the scripture that ssays "when The Lord turned arround the captivity of Zion, they were like they that dream. inspite of all the persistent prayers made for their freedom, when it finally came it was greater than they thought it would be. let us learn to give God glory for all things. though we expect it, He can-and often does more.
